You may either use the "index" menu (which features file system roots quick index buttons) or the "index..." button of the toolbar (whose icon shows a CD). This one requires you to choose the device or directory you want to index. On Windows, MediaLibrary automatically guesses the media name using system information. You may remove an indexed media as well. The update feature does not work yet.
